Would soggy cherrios hurt?

Recommended Posts

First' date=' you aren't really starving...most likely you have something called head hunger. This is tough and you really need to stick to the Drs. plan as it will allow you to heal. Second, are you taking a PPI? Gas build up and acid in the stomach area can feel like hunger but it really isn't. Lastly Cheerios are really bad food, so please avoid them if you can. Be patient and keep busy, try walking since you are only a couple of days PO. You will get past this, but it takes a bit of effort on your part. Hang in there.[/quote']

Hi Armani... I was sleeved June 3. It was a rough until this morning. I wanted to go back to the hospital. Today I am feeling great, I have a sore abdomen but I am up and about, getting my drinks in and taking less pain meds. I walked and walked the last two days to move the gas. Literally I walked circles around my yard with a shake for 30 minutes and that was just once. I did it three times. If your not moving get up and go, it will move the gas, decrease the pain and tire you out so you can sleep good. I didn't even need to take a nap today and was able to sit on a bench and pull some weeds in my garden. Two days ago I felt like you! There is hope, hang in there and don't be scared! You are going to feel back to normal before you know it! I am not there 100% yet but I sure feel better!

Laura's quote answers the question about the cherios enough for me... Just read it..

"Nothing changes if nothing changes, and if I keep doing what I've always done, I'll keep getting what I've always got, and will keep feeling what I always felt."

GO LAURA!

Correction! If its your husbands breadstick, (like Chinamamas was) it's ok :D

I'm willing to go so far as to say as long as it's not someone else's husband's breadstick...

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
