So, last week I was 202 and today is the big weight in tadaaaa I'm 202????WHAAAT? I felt bad when scale said that. I have never lost nothing at all in a week. Sometimes I loose less than 3 pounds which is my normal loss but not none at all? Plus my birthday is Friday 31 and I promised my self this will be the last year I tell my self I will be less than 200 on my birthday. I feel mad like what the heck I should be down at least a pound! I think maybe because I lifted weights on Monday This happened. Should I do cardio only just so I make my goal? Go on a liquid diet? I had not gone #2 so I I took milk of magnesium yesterday and went this morning but still 202? very upsetting I thought today would be the day I had my camera ready to take a pic of 199 on the scale! I guess I'll wait till Friday and weight again. MAN I'm ANOYED...

Thank you I just really was shocked I had the surgery 5 months ago and every week I lost .this is the first time I lose a single pound. Im very happy with the weightloss and love the way I look now Just was really excited and expecting to be below 200 for the first time in 14 years and didn't expect not to lose at all. It will fall off I know just venting theres no one else that will understand other than you sleevers out there :)

Stalls happen. If you haven't had one in 5 months, consider yourself lucky.

17 pounds a month is amazing!! Your body is probably just recalibrating. You can still lose inches/gain muscle without the weight changing. It will keep going. If this is your first stall you are incredibly lucky. I stalled at 3 weeks post surgery but it eventually caught back up.

Amen to Celebrate the fact that you've not had any stalls, you're doing awesome!! From the 6th month on, I've lost 8 lbs total in 3 months, EIGHT, not much at all, and I'm in a gym 5 days a week 50 min cardio, adding 3 days a week 20 min of weight training. I think our bodies just know when to let go of the weight and it's not when we want it but when it's meant to happen. Frustrating for sure, but 'this too shall pass' as the saying goes. Again, you're doing amazing!!

Congrats on loosing 86 pounds! You are very lucky to not have had any stalls until now. I will be 4 months this week and month 3 only had lost 6 pounds for the entire month. The stall will break - I lost so far this month 11 pounds with a week to go. My Dr told me as long as I average ten (10) pounds a month, I am fine. Continue to follow your eating and exercise plan!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
