I feel like such a slow loser!! My body has changed, but nothing really drastic! My pants are baggy, but I am still wearing a size 16 and can barely squeeze into a 14! When I read how well everyone else is doing and see these dramatic pictures where some of yall look completely different (although I am very happy for each one of you) I get so depressed. I have seen people that I have not seen in several months and no one notices a difference. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I feel like I am destined to be fat forever.

MystiGal - You are NOT destined to be fat forever! You have a taken a huge step toward your health and your sleeve is doing its work. I am fairly slow at losing too, but I know it will come for both of us. Don't lose faith, friend!

4 months down 64 total size 18/20 to a 10.

Miss Lady - you look fantastic! This is such an encouragement for the slower loses like me!

I was sleeved on 5/15

SW 242

Current weight 198

I feel like I am losing slow as well. It is discouraging. But one thing about the slow weight loss is no baggy skin

Have dr's apt next week, gonna ask him if I am on track or not, so I can stop worrying

TY. Just keep doing it. A steady loss is better than a fast gain any day. You will get there.

Julie G T - Look at you! You are beautiful in both pix but you look so much younger in the newer one. At my age' date=' that is a huge compliment! Congratulations![/quote']

Thank you :)

I understand how you feel...my experience has been similar, as you can see on my ticker...I am also in a stall at 217...I had very much hoped to be in Onederland by my 6-month surgiversary...I am one month away and don't think there is any chance I will lose 17 lbs in a month...but I am focusing on the positives--one being that I have lost 50 lbs and the other that my blood glucose levels have been much lower, and I am almost completely off my diabetes meds :)

hang in there and don't get too discouraged!

I was sleeved May 20th..... Down 57lbs since surgery! Started my journey a size 22/24 but now happily wearing a size 14! Only about 43 lbs till my end goal and it feels amazing :)

Updated picture of my sister, my sister in law and me. May 9th (day before surgery) and today. I think we look pretty darn good! So happy that we went through this together!

You all look great. So nice you've had close support since day 1 who know what you're going through!
