7. TY. Just keep doing it. A steady loss is better than a fast gain any day. You will get there.

11. You are really looking good girl! Love your passion for fashion too.
12. I dared to order this dress and when I tried it on I had my first "I actually see the loss" moment. WOW. My husband loves it! I told him you actually have a "hot" wife. He said no my wife has always been hot now she is "flaming" LOL 3 1/2 months post op 57 pounds down and just 3 more to get to my personal goal of 180.
13. We are really close in our stats and surgery date. My doctor goal was to loose 65 pounds and I'm 14 pounds from having lost 65 pounds. So I know the plan works but I was curious. Thanks for the reply.
14. Hey Soror. Thanks for the reply.
15. I was just wondering what is the shortest time it took someone to get to goal. I was told you loose the best in first year. But has anyone hit goal before 6 months and stopped loosing? Im three months out and wondering is this it? I'm not at my goal yet and 14 pounds from loosing what doctor goal says surgery had me loose 80% of excess weight.
16. Looking good. What were your starting bmi and weight? How tall are you?
17. I live in Houston and would really like to belong to a face to face group. I will look for details on any meet and greets that are scheduled.
18. Wishing you lots of luck and a speedy recovery as your day is soon. I did a 2 week all liquid pre-op. Lost 11 pounds and got into the habit of what was coming after surgery. First two days thought I would die-lol. I am a Nurse but I have a desk job. I took off two weeks. That was fine for me and it gave me time to develop a drinking routine to be sure I stayed hydrated. the first few days I was a bit tired and missed my mid day naps but nothing unbearable other wise. I drank before and after surgery the Vanilla Premier Protein premade shakes. Soem times I put a bit of skim milk in them or even coffee. Suagr free popsicles, jello and starined soups were my friend too. I'm now 3 months out on Tuesday so we will have the same surgiversary day of the 21st. Hang in there it really is all worth if for a better healthier version of you. And girl the clothes shopping is a bunch of fun too! LOL
19. Tigerbelle this journey is so different for us all. And sometimes it sucks when you see others doing things we want to reach. But trust the sleeve and keep following the rules "most of the time" and it will happen. One good thing about losing slow is your skin has time to keep up with the loss. For me inches have been the thing I think. i have lost 46 inches over all my body in total. If you are not tracking those do it. It helps when the scale may not eb moving that much to let you see that things are happening. My sleeve is pretty tolerable so the only things I'm having an issue with are plain water still and salmon and shrimp (i use to love them) but my sleeve is not liking them right now. Protein shakes and yougurt were an everyday thing for me until about 3 weeks ago, I just got burned out. For breakfast I usually have soft scrambled egg, 1 turkey pattie and a sprinkle of cheese. I'm still drinking lots of G2. I eat more chicken than any other kind of meat and that is getting boring to me so gonna change that up soon. I snack on nuts and yes I do have cheat snacks sometimes like a few chips, gold fish or pretzels. As far as exercise I was walking every day for about 30-45 minutes and doing light weights about 3/4 days a week at home. I have slacked up on those until I finfish some testing to determine why since surgery my heart rate is really really low in the low 40's and that is making me so tired. I weigh 189 pounds and have not lost a pound in over 2 weeks but trying not to stress it (too much anyway). My personal goal is 180. Because I had a low bmi my doctor is happy if i lose 65 pounds he would consider that a success. My highest weight last year was 248. Pre-op visit was 243. Before 2 weeks liquids I was 240 and day of surgery I was 229. So just trust the process and remember we didn't get the extra minutes on our hourglass figure over night so it takes some time for them to go away.
20. Down 51 total 40 since surgery on 5/21. From size 18 to a 12. Feeling great!
21. We all know they happen but a hard to go thru. I've lost 51 pounds in 3 months and I've been stalled two weeks. I've only lost 2 ounces. Guess the body is playing catch up, but it sucks. I'm 9 pounds from my personal goal.
22. Thank you. My husband is a Pastor and this is in our church.
23. This has been incredible, but all my lovely lady lumps are gone. Lol
