Lightweights in the house! Any more people with less to lose/less BMI's?

So I'm considered a lightweight....yea....thats me LOL! At 32 BMI I'm technically lightweight. I have been at 35 BMI for the last several years or so and have actually managed to lose a bit on a low carb/high protein/mod fat/low cal/sugar free (paleo/primal) lifestyle, but am as usual having a very hard time keeping it off consistantly. It keeps creeping up.

Was just wondering if there were anymore people on here with about 100lbs or less to lose, or otherwise considered lightweight comparatively. Any who've had the procedure? If you've had the procedure, how much have you been losing? What's your progress, and how're you feeling about the procedure so far?

Thought I'd make a thread for us that have less to lose than the SMB or even the MB people on here. So we can share our experiences and just chill.

B)

BTW, thought I'd add. Everyone is welcome! All sizes! All opinions are valued here! ;)

I wouldn't consider myself as a lightweight but I was too skinny and healthy for insurance coverage so I self paid in Mexico. Started at 39.5 bmi and am almost "normal" 9 months later at 25.1 bmi. Best decision I've ever made. Please ignore my sexy tall sock pic I have making fun of them' date=' but shows the difference.[/quote']

YOU LOOK AWSOME

You are just too cute! Congrats on your success. I was sleeved in Mexico a last week for the same reasons. BMI was 37. Healthy, but with all the diabetes and other issues that my Dad suffers from, I decided to go to Mexico and make the lifestyle changes. I want to ride a horse next summer. Probably I'll pick a bigger one than the one you did. Hahaha

Thank you. And she's a big girl. Id guess Almost 16.3 hands tall n 1700 pounds. She might look smaller cuz the pic was taken from atop another big horse tho. I wish u fast n easy recovery, you'll be "tiny" before you know it. I bout **** bricks n giggle every time I hear that in reference to me now lol. Don't think I'll ever get used to it

I'm a lightweight, too, with BMI of 38. I just turned in my application yesterday and got The Call a few minutes ago--100% approved. Cigna didn't even bat an eye.

I'm 5' and was 198 at the beginning of my journey my BMI was 39; after 6 months I got approved by my insurance for August 22, I'm on my pre-op liquid diet and down to 184 I'm hoping to lose at least 60 or 65 :-) that's my goal.

My BMI is right at39-40 ( my weight fluctuates) and no comorbidities. I have UHC and Im praying they approve me. but hearing your stories help me stay positive. I am 5'6 and 250

I hope they do, I guess they look at your BMI and medical problems like cholesterol and HBP and you will get approved , at the beginning I tought they were going to deny me because I was under 100 over Weigth but they go by your BMI.

. Which Dr. Did you use in Mexico
Just realized I'm the only one who hasn't properly posted their stats (and I started the thread HA) so here goes.

Right' date=' so "lightweight" at:

Starting BMI: 35 at 185lbs for 5'1"

Now: 32.1 at 170lbs (the weight's creeping up fast again, ugh nothing works long enough)

Lost 15lbs doing paleo/primal (low carb/low cal/high protein/mod fat/no sugar/no grains) for 3 months. Still on the same lifestyle but the weight's creeping up faster than I lost it, by far. So, 72lbs to lose to get to normal weight. I'd be happy with even half of that right now. Praying I don't gain back to 185 again (my body likes this weight a little too much!)

Surgery has been approved at the MI Doctor Hospital/Clinic in TJ, Mexico by Dr. Israel Cabrera/Valenzuela for either June/July/August. Have to get the finances together, and the hubster needs to get off work for 5 days which is becoming the biggest challenge as at least 4 of his employees want to vacation for 2 undecided weeks each one of these months this summer. Seriously? My luck! lol.[/quote']

I am 4'10 and 182.2 day of surgery which was 3 days ago. Wondering how your doing and if you've been sleeved. Worried this will be a slow process for me :/

4 weeks out...9 pounds lost since surgery...34 pounds list all together...size 16 to 12. I need some encouragement because I'm not losing hardly any weight. What's going on?

Hey doll. Can you share your diet, maybe we can help figure out why? I'm down 9 lbs - 11 days post op, feels slow but I'm going to keep at it. Just remember why you did this and keep pushing :).

Wow...I can't believe my 3 week stall right now!!! I lost the majority of my 16lbs down in the first 2 weeks. Of which I lost like 11lbs in the first week (including pre-op diet loss), then I stalled again, starved myself (even more) to lose about 5 more and it took forever to come off. Then stalled again for the next 2 weeks, and now I've GAINED 3 lbs throwing me back at a loss of 13 lbs......what the hell!!!

My calories are consistently 500-590, with 50-70g Protein, and always well under 50g carbs (average of 13-18g, not once above 25g). My fat is also very super clean saturated, and less than it needs to be...but I'm still stuck. And even gained 3 lbs. I mean, I'm 1 month out....what the hell is going on!!! I've half a mind to talk to my doctor directly about this! I am taking prilosec every single day at the recommended dose, and also take liquid antacids before each meal despite the fact that I don't have heartburn, just so that I can shut out all the comments about the whole...oh you're not hungry, its just heartburn thing! lol. I'm still hungry, and the way I can tell is that I get dizzy and lightheaded within 5-8 minutes of the hunger feeling. Yes, I'm eating a lot less often now, and much less food too (I mean flippin' 500-590 cals!!)

Today, I'm doing something different and hoping it'll break this gaining/stall cycle...I'm just having Protein shakes (30g) when I get hungry and drinking more than my full 2 litres to see where that takes me. Only 1 solid meal all day, and even that is 77 calories at 11g protein, 2 carbs and 2g sat fat. And if I see anything change (going down that is) on the scale tomorrow morning (even a half decimal point lol) I'm going nuts and knocking out even that 1 solid meal and replacing it with more Water and a protein shake!

If this doesn't work, I'm calling my lawyer! ;)
