Fat googles?
Does anyone else feel like they have on a fat version of beer goggles? When I look in the mirror I still see 60 pounds more than where I'm at. When I see others pictures that are my weight and even 20-30 pounds more I think "omg she looks so little and cute" and when I see that their weights are similar, I just don't see "that" when I look in the mirror. I know everyone's built differently and lose different, I'm not saying exactly, but just remotely. Also when someone of normal bmi states they want to lose 10-15 more pounds I wonder to myself "from where, there's no place left to lose that amount from, you look great now". I'm 5 pounds under my original modest goal and now I want 10 more gone, and once I get to 10 I'll want another 5, and after that maybe 3 more...etc. I wasn't even sure I'd want to lose down to my original goal of 150, I thought I'd look too small (from what I've become accustomed to looking at for the last 13+ years), I honestly thought I'd be happiest at 170-180. Which is kinda funny cuz when I look in the mirror I still see me at 200, so my wanting 10-15 more makes me feel I might look like I think I would at my "happy" weight. I think it's cuz I'm a skinny fat person now (from the looser skin and initial muscle loss) instead of the once plump filled out fat fat person. I've heard people say it takes time for our minds to catch up with our bodies, but damn I'm almost a year out, how long are we talkin here. I don't wanna lose more than looks natural on me to the outside world but still see an obese BMI body in my inside world.

Recovering from a long day of floating the river and after looking at the pics from the trip I actually liked what I saw. After 13 years of hating 95% of pictures I was in its nice to not cringe and untag myself from shared FB ASAP then send death threats to my friends that posted them lol. Would love to see others summer fun pics as well. We are all getting healthier and happier and summertime is a great way to show off the new you no more hiding behind others in pictures...show your stuff with your head held high Have to get back to civilization to upload some new before pics off my comp then I will post my summer fun pics as well- Lightweights in the house! Any more people with less to lose/less BMI's?
