Me too! Looking forward to a healthy future :) Sending prayers your way!

Best Wishes to you both.....

Best of luck to the both of you!

Thoughts and prayer are with you during your surgery.

Thanks for all the prayers! My surgery went very well! Actually got moved up to first surgery of the day - so they rushed me through pre-op stuff. No time to get nervous :) No nausea (love Zofran) and no narcotic pain reliever either- just extra strength Tylenol, Meds for stomach cramping and PPI worked wonderfully. Up and walking within an hour out of recovery. Barium swallow was good - but yucky tasting. Kept down liquids 2nd day - one oz. at a time. Two nights stay in hospital. Had a great night's sleep last night - in my own bed. Up and around, walking, sipping ... incisions bruised and a little sore ... but feeling great!

Since I was a revision, I'm still in the hospital. I should be going home by Monday Keeping liquids down. Don't like Multivitamin they are giving me. Yuk. But take it anyways. I'm glad you are doing so well.

I had a VBG in 1994. It was a type of WLS surgery that isn't really practice anymore because it doesn't work. (Vertical banded gastroplasty)

Yes I know many people that had this surgery , stomach stapling , now they have replaced it with the lapband it's less invasive .
