  4. Good luck with everything, and I am so sorry to hear about your husband, that is so sad.. I couldn't imagine what you have been through. The revision for me was very smooth.. Good luck honey.. My thoughts and prayer are with you..
  5. I will be week 4 on Tuesday. That is awesome, my doctors haven't released me to exercise until 19 July, I don't know why. But better follow doctors orders.. I take B-12 but seems to wear off by mid day. I am drinking a muscle milk in the morning which has 25g of protein and only 220 carbs. So example yesterday, I had my muscle milk in the morning and mid morning had 2 hard boiled eggs, which took me about an hour to eat, and than about 1 I had some cottage cheese. By 3:30 I was pooped, didn't have energy for nothing, so when I got home, I ate some refried beans with a little cheese on top, which was delicious by the way.. I didn't loose anything from yesterday to today, which I have average around 1 lb a day since surgery. But the wonderful thing is, I actually feel full, eating is a whole new trend to me. I usually eat so fast that I get way to full, but I am taking it slow. My biggest stronghold is drinking while I eat, I still do it but try to minimize it.

  7. I was sleeved on 5/28/13, surgery weight was 245.4 and I am now weighing (as of this morning) 223.2.. I am so excited about that, but at the same time, my expectations were higher than the result that I am I getting. I barely eat anything, and get a liter of water in a day, why is the weight not just falling off, I have not measured myself, but why are my clothes not loser than they are.. I feel a little bit of difference in my legs. I just want results... LOL..

  10. I have not vomitted.. LOL
  11. I had my revision from band to sleeve on 5/28 as well. I have had absolutely no complications. I had my surgery in Dallas, Tx, with Dr. David Kim. I have lost a total of 19 lbs. After reading on here everyone's experience, I was so scared that I was going to have issues getting fluids down. From day 2 post op, i have been drinking fluids no problem, I have went forward on my diet without dr's orders, but I am on phase 2 of post op diet, which should just be creamed soups, well I have started refried beans and fat free cottage cheese, which has settle just fine. My only compliant right now is, I get tired so much faster than I use to. Understandable, due to not getting the calories and carbs that I usually did. I will be release to exercise in about 2 weeks. I love my sleeve, and I love that I have vomitted in almost 3 weeks. Good luck...

  13. Ok guys, great news.. So I finally got below the 230's... OMG I really thought that I wasn't.. I am now 228.4.. I am so very excited.. and it only has been 2 weeks.. and I have lost a total of 17 lbs.. I can't believe it.. I am sorry, I didn't have anyone to excited with and you guys know exactly where I am coming from.. I am on Phase 2 of my diet and will get to start eating cottage cheese and yogurt next week, which I am looking forward to that as well.. I hope everyone is doing great.. No issues here, I have not problems at all. Great news!
  14. I am on phase 2 of my diet plan: full liquid protein diet... I get fat free creamed soups, strained, and milk and protein shakes.. I have come to really like the Muscle Milk, it has 25g of protein and lactose free, 3g sugar, but the calories are a little high of 220, but I try to just drink one a day. I am absolutely not having any problems. I get liquids down just fine, and have not had any issues drinking milk or eating jello. Last night I even tried refried beans, which I probably shouldn't have until my next phase of my diet, but not issues and after about 3 bites, I was very full, not too full that I wanted to vomit.. But I felt full, and it felt nice for the first time. I am down to 228.4.. I am so very excited, people at work are saying how I look like I am loosing weight, and my clothes are starting to feel loose.. great feelings guys.. It's been a very long time.. Good luck to you all... )

  19. I have only lost 10 including pre-op diet
  20. Im having no issues with water. . I do feel a little hungry which concerns me.. I thought I wouldnt be. But I eat a little broth and a half of cup of jello and it satisfies the hunger.. im worry about when I get passed the point of being scared to eat.. what will be satisfying? I havent felt the full part yet, but I havent ate anything with substance either.. I was sleeved 28 May..
  21. I have 7.. the biggest one is where they removed my port about 1 to 2 inches long, I have staples too
  22. It was hurting before I even started drinking.. my nurses and p.a. said that is where they fixed a hernia.. but I think that I am drinking too fast.. its hard to get use to.. so when weighing in the day of surgery I weighed 241 and now I am 230.. I like seeing that.
