Well I finished my three months of being on the cpap machine and the results are supposedly being sent to my surgeon (after 3 phones calls!!). I will be calling again Monday to see if they actually sent them THIS time. I also have to fill out an application at workforce for a very promising job, come home and start my summer semester online and then go to work at 2. Ahhhhhhh!!! Monday is going to be very busy. So as of right now I still DO NOT have a surgery date. Sigh.... It will happen, it will happen, it will happen. That's what I keep telling myself. So those of you who are starting out it will take time for some of you. June will be a year for me. Hopefully my one year of waiting will turn into me actually getting surgery. Hope all of you are well and doing good on your own journey. Keep sharing it helps those of us who haven't actually went through it all yet.

Sorry it's taking so long for you. I started in March and surgery is the 14th. It may of been sooner but I was delayed do to finding out I have mild sleep apnea (6.9 day of study) it took sleep Dr about a month to get machine to me. My surgeon on required me to do a week of at home before I could meet her. I still do my cpap and my ahi has lowered.

I have been on a clap for three years. I am hoping once this is all said and done that I won't need it. It's not very sexy lol I hope that your surgery date is set soon....I see the surgeon on the 15th and I am praying she sets a date!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
