ZIPLINE REALITY CHECK...

Recommended Posts

So, there was an event today that my job sponsored (outdoors). They had a zipline & I was so excited to try it!! :-) I got to the front of the line & as I was being harnessed, suddenly both myself & the man realized that the harness would NOT fit around my waist to be buckled....NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!! I was not not embarassed...I was just motivated. Imma hit it harder...even harder than I am now....and I'm hitting it hard. It's on my list now to try another zipline & next time around, darnit...I will fit, lol!!!! Any similar exeriences?? & just to think...I felt sooooo small this morning with my "getting too big" jeans on!

I ziplined in the jungle in Mexico..at 248, the cute Mexican guys huffed and puffed pulled and tugged untill they got that sucker on me (I am pretty sure they were saying GRANDE under their breath to each other) I saw the other ladies in the line who were larger than me looking like they were standing in line to get their toe nails peeled off

That is pretty exciting you are up there trying out the zipline experience. I am sorry to hear about the harness troubles, but soon you will be zip-zipping with the best of them! This is something I want to try also, but think I am going to wait 1 year until my wife can do it with me after she is far enough as a post op.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
