^^ was just gonna say "bet you don't do that again!"

I really wanted some Jimmy John's today. but I know it's wayyyy too soon for all that bread - then I started wondering if I'd EVER be able to eat that bread again. I totally get the carb craving... I have it for bread all. the. time.

I still can't do Pasta or bread well at almost 2 years out. Both will leave me hurting and having to wait a long time to drink Water without pain. :)

I had my surgery April 8th so a little over a month ago and I have had bread; both white and whole grain. The white bread wasn't bad but it was a little uncomfortable after it hit my stomach.. The wheat was wonderful! I missed my Peanut Butter and jelly sandwiches!! :):D

So I love jimmy johns #11. And I was afraid I wouldn't be able to eat it again and then someone pointed out there unwich to me. Same yummy sandwich just no bread. It's really good. I miss the bread sometimes but this is a great compromise.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
