Hi all, just following up: sleeved 4/1 and down 75 lbs as of this morning.

Hi all' date=' just following up: sleeved 4/1 and down 75 lbs as of this morning.[/quote']

Congrats!!!

I was sleeved on April 10, 2013. Starting weight (before the 10 day pre-op diet) was 253. Current weight (as of July 17, 2013) is 204. Losing weight consistently at 2 lbs per week. Need to do better about nutrition, especially getting all my protein in.

Hey all-

Progress continues! 4/9 sleeve. Started at 334lbs and down 74 lbs! Current weight 260lbs. Getting all my water in is still a daily challenge.

Also just checking in. Sleeved April 3rd and down 87 as of this morning.

Update, sleeved 4/22, down 42 lbs

Hi revised on 4/29 start of 3 day Pre-op was 232, today 213.... I will get there, still doing the 3 lbs down, 4 lbs up thing.... Ahhh oh well I'm 20 lbs down overall instead of up!! Only 80 more to go.

Sleeved 4/2 starting weight 238.8. Current weight 164.2. I feel amazing. 5"2 and I was in xxl shirts and 42 mens pants.... Now I'm in medium shirts and 33 pants!! Total loss 74.6 lbs! It definitely slowed down but I'm ok with that! I work out 4-5 times a week....just started lifting! Oh ya, I haven't weighed myself in two weeks but going to weigh in tomorrow! Love my sleeve....not to sound corny but I think it saved my life!

Geez, I am losing so slow compared to all of you!! LOL...I was sleeved on 4/2 and have lost 46 lbs..but my Dr. says it's because I had a lower BMI...I don't know, feeling pretty discouraged after reading all of your successes...Congrats!!

Don't be discouraged. I started real heavy. Your doc is right. I think you've had tremendous success!! :)

You should not be discouraged at all as I believe your loss is really good. As you likely know we all lose differently. For some reason I have never had an issue with dropping weight rapidly but I would never stick with it. Thus the reason for getting the sleeve. A few years before surgery My latest attempt on my own I lost 130 and was at 418 before that loss. I then started gaining again because I started eating whatever I wanted again. I had gained back to where I was pre surgery at 362.

So don't worry you are still doing an awesome job!
