I don't have to LIE anymore!

Recommended Posts

I've been driving for 40 years and not once have I changed it since I was 15. They ask me.. Is the weight the same? I just say, yes. There's no way my license could ever keep up with my yoyo'ing weight loss/gain

I was mortified when I moved to CA from MA over 10 years ago and learned about the weight on the drivers license thing! I lied back then and it was only about a 20 pound lie... now, my initial goal weight is what is on my drivers license!

Funny story I got pulled over and the cop asked.. well how much do you weigh? because clearly you don't weigh 280 lbs he handed me my license told me to have a new picture taken and let me off with a warning.. NSV for sure

Awesome!

So I may have to get a new passport to go to Mexico for my surgery. I'm gonna check because it expires in Dec. I sure don't want to have a picture today that will be irrelevant for the next 10 years.

Your ticker says your high weight was 287? So not entirely truthful' date=' though I can't imagine going to get a new license due to weight going up? Might be nice to get a new one someday for a lower weight, though.[/quote']

I got this license on 12/03/2011 and I was 260. Due to 2 partially torn achilles tendons I was up to 287 by late summer 2012. And it will be wonderful when I renew. :)

I wonder if you gain weight after getting your license, if you are supposed to inform them of the gain? I mean that would be the "honest" thing to do :P

Yes, if you have any significant gain or loss you are legally required to update your license.

So all my life I have lied on my drivers license about my weight. Yesterday I was looking at my license and it hit me BAM I'm under the weight on the license! WOW its a first ever! ~~~happy dance~~~

Also don't judge me because I lied.. I'm sure I'm NOT the only one who lies on their license ;-)

Guilty! !!!! And I make sure to take a great picture just so noone focuses on the weight part! At least I hope!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
