Hi Ladies,

I read an article saying that when we lose hair 2-2.5 months out its because of the anesthesia.... Hairloss due to Vitamin or protien deficiency is at month 4. Just wanted to share that!

I can say I've taken all my Vitamins, supplements and Protein and well.....

As a matter of fact I just had my blood work done

Everything's good.

But how about you other ladies are you "skimping" on your stuff?

I must say though after all the joking about it.

In the grand scheme of things? It's a small temporary price to pay :)

Mine started at 2.5 months and I'm almost out 4. I've had no problems getting in all my vits and Protein. I'm just praying it stops soon before its all gone! Lol! I do have some new tiny hairs along my hairline on my forehead and temples so that's good and gives me hope! :)

Ohhh.. You are tall! That's ok I like em big!

Oh and speaking of big' date=' I read your "boobs" thread today LOL!

I've got nothing for you on that one! I mean I literally I have nothing.,.,, C cup here! :D

[/quote']

You like em big huh? I'm blushing ;) nothing wrong with C cups.. that's the mentality that got me in trouble bigger isn't always better so now my back hurts

I am 7 months out tomorrow and still losing tons of hair. I started out with very thick hair and now it has thinned out BIG time, especially by my "widows peak". Cant wait for my hair to be back to normal :(

This is the funniest post I have read in a LONG time!!! Tho I am sure it is not fun to the newbies....... This too shall pass.... yes, you will lose hair, you were told that before the surgery..... yes you need to get in your protein and vitamins........ yet you will still lose hair..... my hair is very thick. So I lost probably a third of it........but it is all coming back, and I get compliments ALL the time, how pretty my hair is........... fret not, WORRY MAKES YOUR HAIR FALL OUT WORSE!!!! .............. so stop worrying, and you will LOSE LESS! :D IT will come back!

I'm sitting in the salon getting my hair colored and cut. Yes, hair loss is horrible when it starts and you think you're never gonna have normal hair again, But I am here to tell you, it does grown back and mine is thick and full of body. So now me and my hair have great body!!

My ponytail is MUCH smaller...

SOMEday it'll come back!

I started losing at 3 months. Im 5 months out now and its still really bad =( I hope it stops around 8 months like others have said, but I was taking biotin a year before my surgery it just makes it grow longer, not thicker. I had really thick hair, now its so thin and others have made comments on how this it is (annoying!) lol anyway I bought Nanogen its a powder you sprinkle on your head and the fibers grab onto your hair strands so your scalp doesnt show. I like it so far =)

OK... what would you rather have??? FAT rolls of it.... OR LESS hair........which you CAN HIDE......and you probably see more of it than ANYONE ELSE.... quit sweating the SMALL STUFF.............. ENJOY LIFE............... and your NEW BODY!!!! the HAIR will GROW BACK!!! IF you do what you know you need to do........

Starting to lose my hair.. But... I got me some clip in extensions.. This should be interesting :) lol

This is such a hard topic because my hair is one of the few things I really love about myself. My surgery is june 18. I am 5'9 and my hair is down to my butt. Even though u guys are so optimistic, I was hoping to read a post where someone didn't lose their hair. I'm thinking of donating mine. Better with someone who needs a wig than in my drain I suppose.

Ugh just another one of those I'm trying to come to terms with.
