  7. Hey everyone I'm three years post op vsg I weighed 260 pounds and lost 120 pounds but recently in the last six months or more gained 28 pounds I have managed to lose 8 of those pounds and I'm trying very hard to lose the remaining 20. I do have loose skin on my stomach area so I know even when I had hit my goal originally I still had a lot of loose skin. Im 26 years old and do you want to have kids in the future maybe five or more years from now. I'm wondering if anyone has had a tummy tuck and if you're happy that you had it done? I am also wondering if I should get it done and enjoy feeling confident in my 20s or if I should wait to have children and then get the tummy tuck done. My last question is if you did get the tummy tucks done are you OK with how the scar looks and has it gotten any better after healing? Thank you so much!

  10. Hi everyone I'm three years out vsg and I have been gaining weight pretty rapidly yet I am exercising like crazy I won't leave the treadmill less I lose 1000 cal and back to basics on my protein and this is been over the last three months I did go to my surgeon and they did an ultrasound and discovered that my fundus had stretched so they recommended I do these sclerosant injections however, I cannot find anywhere who does the injection I am currently living in SouthernCalifornia. Does anybody know where I can get these injections done please?
  11. So gorgeous! Do you mind if I ask what plastics you got? I'm thinking of getting a tummy tuck but I'm not sure if I should wait to have kids first

Hi guys I'm going to be honest with you, I am not trying to scare anyone but I actually got on here to post about this to see if anyone can help me..So I am 3 years 3 months out and have gained in the last 7 months 28lbs I know I know scary as hell!! I went to my surgeon because things are just not adding up with how I am gaining weight my calorie intake is still 800-1200 everyday but I kept gaining they are trying to figure out what's wrong with me. I am so sad for the last 2 months I am so good watching my intake, Protein, water I have not missed a day of the 30 day shred with Jillian micheals amor do the treadmill ...yet stuck at 160lbs my lowest and goal was 140lbs (used to be 260lbs) so now I have 20lbs to lose to get back to my goal. I used to lose so fast and easy but not anymore this is just crazy and an extremely emotional roller coaster ????

  21. Correct it wont prevent it from falling out, however they do help with regrowth and how healthy it will grow back. I started taking biotin 2 weeks before my surgery
  22. Morning I am 3 years post op VSG and after the first 3 months my hair began to fall out. By 4 months I had to use powders to cover up bald spots and finally by 6 mo decided to wear wigs from time to time because so many people were commenting about how thin my hair was ( not that is was their business! Lol) at 8 mo it slowed down and by 10 it started re growing. I now have all my hair back its so thick and I love that it went back to completely normal! I drank my Vitamins including a Biotin capsule (not tablet at the tablets to your shampoo and conditioner ) but drink the actual capsules and that im telling you helped me so much with growth. I buy the capsules from Walmart not expensive at all and so worth it. Ps im a pharmacist any other questions about vitamins or meds im happy to help! Instagram: smallbird_vsg
  23. You would take it the same way, but your MD may want to lower your dose because after we have the surgery we end up getting lower BP. You may feel dizzy when you stand up at times. Once you lose enough weight and the dosage gets smaller, one day you may not even need those meds ever again! That's the goal right! IG: smallbird_vsg
