I had my sleeve on Friday May 3rd am. It is Tuesday now and still when I sip or "eat" I frequently get stabbing gut pain. Nothing unbearable but it is starting to get slightly worriesome. Am I eating too fast? Is it just gas pains? Is my stomach angry at me? Will we ever be friends again? Anyone else feel this?

definitely had pains in the first couple of weeks....helps to eat slower and actually wait 2 minutes between bites (someone shared this advice with me when i posted a similar question). if the pain is constant, even when you're not eating, definitely call the doctor. and if you're worried, call the doctor's office anyway and ask to speak to his/her nurse. it's better to have peace of mind and they expect to answer such questions in the early stages. i had a problem with an incision....finally called the doctor on a Saturday morning and she asked, "why did you wait so long to call?" duh. she immediately provided a couple of solutions and gave me peace of mind.

Try taking some gas x (or anything with symethicone). Does great wonders. But As Melody said, go ahead and call your doc!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
