HAVE A ? ABOUT COUNTING CALORIES BURNED

Recommended Posts

IN NEED OF ADVICE/HELP: I work in retail & wear a pedometer every day, it counts & tracks how many steps I take thru the day, miles I walk & calories I burn. Do you think I'm cheating if I count the calories I burn thru the day & log the info into MFP or should I only be counting calories I burn with the extra walking I do after work?? MFP doesn't track steps or miles so I just take the # of calories Ive burned off my pedometer & list under walking 2.0 slow pace to the closest match. Im pretty new at all this "exercise stuff" & dont want to be cheating myself. I got sleeved on Feb 19, 2013 and want to use my tool in the best way I know how too to get healthy. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read & help me out?

I carry a fitbit that tracks my steps all day and is automatically linked to mfp so I say count all your steps towards calories burnt.

It depends, are you planning on eating back those calories you burned? If so then you really want to use a heart rate monitor as it's much more accurate than my fitness pal. fitbit or a pedometer. If you aren't eating back any of your exercise calories than you can really track whatever you like to track because it doesn't really matter on the accuracy.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
