My revision is scheduled for April 29th. Being informed that the chance of complications is higher when revising because of scar tissue, etc.. I'm getting super nervous! I didn't have a care in the world last time, but this time I have a 19 month old and the thought of leaving her for an extended period of time (ie. complications) makes me really anxious.

I'm getting cold feet now. Please talk me back in to it! Remind me why I am doing this please!

^^^ what ISleevedIt said!

Think of how miserable you'll be if you DON'T do the surgery.

Expect the best! Be prepared for the worst! Whatever is gonna happen will happen, so just do all you can to stay positive on your end and focus on your desired end result.

I'm getting sleeved May 2nd. We're almost Sleeve Sisters! WE CAN DO THIS! :) Good luck!!

I understand your immediate concern. I have 4 kids (ages 13, 12, 9, and 6) I stayed in the hospital 6 nights due to some complications and it turned out to be a blessind cuz all my energy was used for rest and healing vs. at home, that would have been tough. The added bonus: hubs and kids gained an appreciation for how I manage the house and 4 busy kids schedules. Take advantage of all rest time you get. You'll heal that much quicker:)

You are doing this so you will have more energy to run around after that baby. So, you can live a long healthy and happy life. I have three girls and am down 72 pounds. I'm very happy I got the surgery. I have more energy now and am allot happier than when I was before the weight-loss It is tuff in the beginning but follow all the rules and you will do good. Congrats on your decision to have this surgery :)

Thank you guys :-) I'm just going to keep re-reading your comments over and over until I go in to surgery. Thanks for helping me remember why I started this journey in the first place. I know that my daughter will be much happier in the long run if I can run and play with her. You're all wonderful :-)

Having mine at Lehigh Valley on May 6th. I wish you the best of luck. I am soooo nervous. The doctor was telling me that the revision was a little more complicated and it was giving me cold feet also.

Which dr is doing your surgery? Dr Harrison is doing mine. I don't think I got enough pre op time with him to ask all of my questions and to ease my mind but I think it's too late at this point with my surgery being next Monday.

Dr. Boorse is doing mine. I met with him last week to ask all my questions. However, at this point I don't think anything will ease my mind. I am so nervous about the whole thing I have been tempted to cancel a few times do to cold feet.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
