Sleeved 4/22 I have lost 41 lbs. Finally starting to feel like i am understanding my sleeve and how to eat with it.

Sw 287 cw 246

I too was sleeved 4/22 I have lost 29lbs. Can you tell me what you eat a day. I have 2 Protein shakes a day and in usually do 3oz Protein 3 oz of a veggie or 3oz salad I will have 1 snack during the day which usually is fruit. I have not lost anything in 2 weeks and getting depressed. I do have a problem getting all my liquids in. I have to try harder getting the full 64oz of fluids in. Any advice?

Some stalls last a long time but it will kickstart back (at least that's what I've heard). I'd love to hear what people eat. I know that question wasn't for me but I'll share as well:

Breakfast was one scrambled egg (really struggle putting Protein powder in it) with .8 oz reduced fat turkey sausage (kroger brand), and 1 oz unsweetened applesauce. lunch was 2.6 oz light tuna with 1 hardboiled egg, 1 tbsp low fat mayo and some mustard (could only eat half of the portion I made), dinner was 2 oz baked salmon with a little bit of BBQ Sauce on it (NUT will probably yell at me for the bbq sauce) and a 1 oz side of canned carrots, and my snack was 1wedge of laughing cow light cheese garlic and herb with .5 oz stacys naked pita chips.

I'm not allowed to eat raw fruit or vegetables unless completely cooked/softened and I can't have any ruffage yet.

Thanks for the response. I was told I can only have 1 meal with the 2 Protein shakes. So if I have breakfast then lunch and dinner must be a shake. I can have cooked and raw veggies and salad. I was also told no dairy except for Greek yogurt and cottage cheese ( which I don't like). U should try low sodium soy sauce on the salmon it's yummy.

Interesting how every doctor/NUT has different rules. For yogurt I am to have low carb/low sugar which is just about impossible to find. Danon Greek Light and Fit was the closest. I also despise cottage cheese. I wondered if my choice of "cheese" was ok but she seems to think it is. That and hummus is my go-to snack. If I handle 4 oz meals I don't do snack or it's one 2 oz snack. If I'm doing 2 oz meals I try to get the 5 small meals in so that I can take my medicine.

My Dr actually told me to start getting off the Protein Shakes and to get my Protein from food now. I was sleeved 4/24.

Sleeved on 4/24, i'm only down 17 pounds. I'm an extremely slow looser. I was hoping to be down at least 25lbs by now. If it's this slow now then I can't imagine what it's going to be like these next couple of months.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
