I had my sleeve on March 5th. For the past 2 weeks I have had nausea after eating. It lasts for about a hour. I am eating solid food now and not over eating. Any ideas what could be causing this???

Maybe you are eating to fast, or the foods you are eating are not sitting well with you. I would try eating slower, make sure you chew really really well, and maybe try different foods for a bit, see if that helps. Good luck!

I am having trouble eating slowly. Hard to change life long habits. Lol. I have also tried other foods. Still nauseated. Thanx for the ideas.

I know, it is really hard to eat slowly. Like you said it's a life time of being told to hurry up and eat, to suddenly now, it's the slower the better! The best way i've found to help me is to watch the clock, and i'll let myself take a bite every 2 min, and i try to chew really slow. it is hard though, and plenty of times i still eat to fast, and pay for it =(

If it is happening only with dense solid foods then you may want to try less dense foods for,a while like Greek yogurt.

You may want to talk to your doctor about adding reglan which will help, with nausea and help the food to go through a little faster. This is added sometimes at the beginning as your body is still having some swelling and still trying to figure out how to transit food

Try chewing some papaya enzyme. Works great for digestion.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
