I look forward to

-crossing my legs

-shopping for clothes in stores other than Ashley Stewart and Lane Bryant

-having more energy to do more physical activities

-having sex with the lights on or during the day

-being able to fit under those safety lap bars on amusement park rides

-no more back pain from these heavy breast

-no longer being the "fat friend"

-hiding from cameras

-feeling sexy and confident

-walking up steps without getting tired

I could go on and on but mostly I want to be happy and healthy.

Awesome list!! I hate being the fat friend!

I'm 4 months post op and I too looked forward to most things on your list. I'm proud to say last month we went to Disneyland and I rode every ride! Now I'm looking forward to a family portrait. Haven't done one since kids were little but I'm waiting until I reach goal for that. Water park ill go this summer. I won't feel all that comfortable but it's a step. My one biggest goal is I want VS panty & Bra set. Just one to say I fit! Lol

Excellent post!! Great job....others' stories are so motivating! How much have you lost?

These lists are great!

Can't wait to:

--Not be embarrassed to see friends that haven't seen me in a while

--Actually feel feminine again' date=' would be nice to not feel invisible around men ...would love to run into my ex husband just to see the look on his face

--Wear clothes that aren't all stretched out and mishaped

--Be able to walk across a parking lot without feeling winded

--Pictures with my girls. I have three daughters and have only a few pictures of myself with them as they were growing up. It's almost like I didn't exist.

--I think the biggest one is not being so stinkin exhausted all the time[/quote']

The fatigue and exhaustion is a big one for me too! Sometimes, I feel like I am sleeping my life away!!

Hi everyone,

I'm 34.... 5'2...255...BMI 46.6... I've always been around 140-150 pounds. Around 2003 I started gaining weight (PCOS). 2011-2012 I went through 3 cycles of IVF and gained about 20lbs from the fertility meds(Steroids). From 2002-2013 I've gained a total of 100 pounds. I've tried almost every diet known to man and typically loose 20-30lbs then gain it back after each diet (deep sigh) At this point I've decided to get help(WLS) I think that 10 years is long enough to battle this weight issue on my own. I want to be healthy and enjoy living an active lifestyle again. I started this process in 2010. I went in for a consultation, sleep study and psych test but my hubby didn't think it was a good idea so I changed my mind and decided to try it on my own AGAIN. After seeing my constant struggle, my hubby is now supporting me 100% in this decision. My Consultation is tomorrow????

I'm looking fwd to:

1)Crossing my legs

2) My thighs NOT constantly rubbing together

3)Not being so winded during sex with the hubster ????

4)Being able to work out without being so self conscious.

5)Not having joint pains in my knees

6) Feeling like my old self again

7)Being able to enjoy sports again (Jet Ski, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Marathons)

8)Enjoying taking pictures

9)Feeling sexy again. ????

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
