I've journeyed so far, but now I have to take a Break

Recommended Posts

My sleeve journey is going great. I am down 76 lbs. & feeling great. Tomorrow I am going to start exercising 6 days a week with my boyfriend's sister who lost 110 lbs. all by sheer willpower. I love her because she does not judge me being sleeved at all. Here's the stinker. I have 3 1/2 weeks left of my college semester. My last day is April 28th & I leave for vacation on April 29th. I am abstaining from any social media or time drainers. Although I love this site & the supportive people here, I have to take a mini break. So, you won't hear from me again probably until when my vacation starts or some time after April 29th. I know you all are so sad! LOL....Seriously, I know you will all be here when I come back on. My plan for the next 26 days is go to the gym, get in my Protein & Water, do infinite piles of homework, cook & clean. It will be worth it when I am feeling relieved & healthy on my vacation. I can't wait to see what my updated story will look like by then. So, I'll see you on the flip side. Keep working those sleeves! :D

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
