Not sure what I need.........

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on Dec 26 2012. I did very well with what I am suppposed to have for a while, but lately, I have been eating poorly. I want o snack all day, i want breads, I dont get my Protein in. I have been eating chocolate ( It is my time of the month ( sorry)) I drink full sugar tea. I am feeling so guilty about this. For a while I was only doing these things once and a while, but now I am messing up all the time. I also stopped losing weigh this week.

How do I snap out of it? has this happened to anyone else?

Just start the new day tomorrow with your protien drink and then get back to the basics.

Try to remember how far you have fun and what you went through to get your surgery. Do you have support groups in your area to go to and help. That might be something that can help you through the difficult times. Take care and hang in there.

Focus on your Protein first. I think if you stick with eating your protein first 5x a day...you won't really have room for anything else. Protein also gives you the full feeling on top of your sleeve. I think everyone is different. If you can get all the high sugar stuff out of the house, then I think that might help. you probably want to snack all day because you haven't been getting your protein in and don't feel "full"/.

You need to get your Protein in. It will help you feel full, and you won't have room for those other things. Try Snacks that are high in protein instead. I like cheese (Babybel), Jerky and Protein Bars for snacks.

<slap> <slap> Did that help? :P

You can get back on the wagon! You've had your "fun" with the junk, it's time to go back to healthy eating. I know it's hard, but you can do it! Look at how much you've already lost. A support group is a good idea. Remember you control the food, the food doesn't control you.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
