May Sleevers Where Are You?!?!

My surgery is scheduled on May 10. I have became addictive to this website. I am so glad that people are sharing their experience: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. When I first seen the Forum for "Mexico Vertical Sleeve Surgery (NEW FORUM!)" I said to myself, "These people are crazy going over to Mexico for surgery." Then I was curious/nosy and clicked on the link and became infatuated with the stories that I was reading.

I had schedule a consultation to see a doctor about Lipo (appointment is today) and said to myself, "Why pay all that money for a quick fix when I can spend my money on a life-time change?" So here I am. I gave my deposit and set my date; I just want to thank everyone for taking the time out to share their experience especially the ones that went to Mexico. This is an awesome support Forum. I have been on a lot of forums and never seen one quite like this.

I requested to have surgery at the Florence Hospital on May 10. I'm still up in the air about the Single-incision. I don't want to spend the extra 1K, but I really don't want to be cut on in several areas. I don't have any scars on my stomach now; kind of want to leave it that way.

See u there! On one of your walks you have to walk by my room and say hello! My name is Rebecca & my friend is Janine

Do anybody know how many leak tests does Dr. Garcia perform.

He does one while you're under, and two after. You drink a clear liquid and then a blue one. You also have

x-rays that you take home

Yay! Can't come soon enough! Is everyone else pigging out now?? Lol

I have eaten so much that I am sick of food. My husband told me I better stop eating before they end up charging me more because I weigh more than what I told them. Lol. I'm tired of food. I might start Pre-op early.

good luck to you and I will be lifting you all up in Prayer

Thank You... I appreciate it... And I will do the same for you!

. Thank you I was wondering

I'm in the process of confirming for May 30 with Dr. Garcia - so good to see people posting positive stuff about him. I'd love to hear more of your experiences before I finalize my package!

I think you will be in good hands.

Good luck to all you May sleevers. May 10 will be my one year sleeve anniversary. It's been a wild ride, it hasn't always been easy, but I wouldn't trade it for all the tea in China. Best thing I've ever done.
