  7. I've seen several people say they're coordinators, and are less than two months post-op. How does one become a coordinator? What's the incentive/ pay for talking to potential clients? For booking people? I'm not interested (at least atm- never say never lol) in being a coordinator, but just confused at what happens and wondering if it's all on the up and up. I don't mean to offend anyone. I've just never seen a business that uses so many recent clients to gather more business for their service provider, and I'm wondering how knowledgeable coordinators that are six weeks post-op can be, to be advising potential sleevers about their journeys.

  14. I'm getting sleeved in TJ by Dr. F. Garcia (Ready 4a Change) at Florence Oasis. Good luck to you!
  15. Maybe I'll see you there, TraciS! I'm scheduled with Dr. Garcia on May 29 (same day surgery), at florence Oasis, then going to the Marriott on 5/31. Whom are you going through?
  16. Just booked May 29 instead of May 30, so that I can do same day surgery and have three hotel nights post op (instead of one of them being pre-op and two post-op) before traveling back to the east coast / home. @Stefaniwg I'm so bummed that I'll be leaving just as you're getting there! I was looking forward to sharing our experience. Good luck to you! (Dr. Garcia / florence / TJ)
  17. That would be awesome! Please feel free to PM me so we can exchange details when we've got them set!

  19. In the process of finalizing for May 30 with Dr. F. Garcia in TJ. Not sure yet if I'll be going alone, have Hubby with me, or a friend to go with me. I'd also love more info on the Mommy Makeover!
  20. Thank you SO much for such a detailed explanation! I'm in the process of scheduling with Dr. Garcia for May 30, and getting really excited about it. Your post is very reassuring!
  21. I'm in the process of confirming for May 30 with Dr. Garcia - so good to see people posting positive stuff about him. I'd love to hear more of your experiences before I finalize my package!
  22. Great questions, great answers. Thank you both!
  23. I was impressed by Dr. F. Garcia when I first started looking into surgery in Mexico, but now I'm more impressed/ interested in Dr. Ramos Kelly - based on his resume, experience, website and videos. But Dr. Ramos Kelly appears more expensive. So I'm looking for input on either/ both of these doctors and your experience with them, Ready4aChange and Mexico Bariatric Center. Thank you.
  24. Thank you! I also saw this post on the recent thread about Dr. Kelly, posted by janiagurl: "In Mexico, no referral is needed. You fill out forms( health questionnaires),usually speak with a coordinator and after the doctor evaluates all the information, you pay the deposit and pick a date.---- This is how it usually goes, but everyones experience may vary"
  25. I'm just starting to look into VSG and doing the procedure in Mexico. I'd appreciate any insight as to what to expect, how to get started, etc.Do I just pick a site (ie: Ready 4 a change) and wait for someone to contact me? What's an approximate time line from first contact until surgery date? Thanks!
