    Hair Loss

How long would you say the shedding lasted! My heart dropped when I saw the amount of hair that was coming out in my brush. I am willing to cut it if necessary, long, thin hair is not cute! However, I was hoping you could shed some light on how long this might last!

    Frustrated

I hit a stall and trust me it does not last! Maybe you should reevaluate what you are doing in the gym/ or what you're doing as far as exercising. Sometimes when you start weight training your body loses inches and remember muscle weighs more than fat! Be encouraged!!!!
  4. I went to Dr. Garcia in March 29! Best decision ever. They are still supportive and just a phone call or email away! Best wishes to you!
  5. Yes, There is air conditioning. I actually used all my covers because I was kind of cold. The IV will be an issue because of the lack of fluids. Whether in Mexico or the US, that would be difficult for any Nurse.
  6. Florence was great. I was there a little over 7 weeks ago. I only had one nurse who had limited English but the others were great. A doctor was there 24 hours a day and they were very attentive. It was peaceful, temp was great. I have no complaints really.

    I can't pick a Dr! Help!

Hi, I went to Dr. Garcia. I was actually there with cindysc. She and I hung out and still keep in touch. Research until it feels right. If you want you can see my story under prettynpink in Mexico. Message me if I can help. Good luck to you

Hey there! Had mine for like 9 days. Since surgery. It was on time but lasted for what felt like forever!

    Dr. Garcia vs. Dr. Aceves?

The nurses were great and the hospital was real quiet! When you're dehydrated any nurse would have a difficult time finding your vein. She didn't tough me with a needle until she was certain she had a good vein.

    Traveling alone?

Went alone, and I was truly at peace. I relaxed, recovered, and had some time for just me! Hubby took care of the kiddos, and I was content with going by myself. I felt safe. There is always someone with you!
  12. I went to Dr Garcia on March 29 and still do not feel hunger. My stomach "turns" when its time to put something in there. Talk to Dr. Garcia, I am sure he would be ready to offer suggestions. Good luck to ya

    Dr. Garcia vs. Dr. Aceves?

I personally believe Dr. Garcia could be more expensive if he worked out of a larger, more upgraded facility. I wouldn't be surprised if his price increased over the next year or two. He is a fantastic surgeon and his team is amazing. Good luck with whomever you choose

    Those of you with toddlers...

So glad to help! I cried when they were reaching and crying, but they liked climbing out of the crib...they like climbing on anything, LOL
  15. Congrats, so the being cold thing doesn't stop, LOL.....same issue here. My husband thinks its hilarious that I walk around in a robe and fuzzy socks.

    Those of you with toddlers...

I have twins nearly 2 years old. I was told nothing over 20 pounds for at least 4 weeks. I let them climb on me. Hubby took care of baths and running errands with them. Now at 4 weeks out I only put them.down for naps. In the beginning. I would get them out of their crib by putting one leg over at a time. They would hold on and get down.

    Old Habits Die Hard...

I don't quite understand the logic of pushing the envelope here. I'm too afraid to screw up my new tummy or worse end up in the emergency room, inconveniencing my family, or worse. I did this to win the battle with food, not to try to figure out how to cheat as soon as possible. I'm with you, I don't get it.

    New to this

Hey there! I am not the risk taking type, but when I found about the policy excluding any type of weight loss surgery, I thought I was out of options. I got on the internet, YouTube actually and saw a girl, Jo is her name, talking about surgery in Mexico. The rest is history, after a lot of research, I went to Dr. Garcia in TJ and loved him and his team. My husband was a little nervous, but just because I chose to go alone for him to stay behind and care for the little ones. Tell your wife to try not to worry. A lot if these surgerons are EXTREMLY qualified and the care was fantastic. There are lots of posts on here where we share our experiences in detail. People are so willing to answer your questions and you can be assured you are talking to real people. I sit and type this on the floor in my room listening to my kids laugh at my husband Best of luck to you!!!
