Lactose intolerance and the liquid diet

Sooo i wanted to start weening my way towards the liquid diet..and as of monday i replaced my breakfast with a protein shake..today was day 2..im so gassy...i had one scoop if whey protein with 12 oz of sugar free almond milk..how will i be able to cope with all the protein shakes i have to drink..helppp

try using gas-x or beano for gas. Lactaid may also help, but is usually best to treat bloating or diarrhea, so you might still need gas-x or Beano anyway. All are over-the-counter, I'd try them out and see what works for you.

I had to switch to soy milk. Try silk or lactaid

It was the only Protein powder i could tolerate the first couple of weeks post-op. The chicken flavor can be mixed with Water.
