Thats the list i go by from my dr! Minus the Biotin but i think thats personal preference. I have hair to lose so i wasnt worried about that lol im 16 days post op btw. Only thing about the Vitamins my dr.told me was make the multi Vitamin A chewy one, i got liquid B12 (its nasty but it helps) and in general, i cant have anything (pill wise) bigger than an m&m. Hope.this helps!

I think you've got a good basic routine there. I'd add that you should have your doctor monitor your Vitamin levels and add in whatever s/he feels is appropriate. I recently added potassium and magnesium to my vitamin routine. It seems like every time they take away an Rx med they add in a vitamin! LOL :)

I'd go easy on the Iron intake at first, monitor your bw and see if you need the extra supplement. Too much Iron can cause Constipation, and the surgery itself can also cause this side effect, so you don't want to make it worse by taking more iron than you need.

Multi-v with extra iron should be okay, unless you are already anemic. Get bw to monitor and make sure you need it! :)

From what I've read on the forum I would include (or sorts) and some anti diarrhea meds

My doc listed 1200mg calcium citrate with Magnesium and Vitamin D for Women

I hear the Calcium is a big deal too with teeth and hair.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
