You will be "consciously sedated" so you will be awake but really out of it and really won't remember it... But it's kinda like a "truth serum"

And some people say some pretty outrageous stuff, hehehe :o

Roflmao!!!!! I will be having it done Monday' date=' so I will let you know how it goes. I'm super nervous about it, but the nurse said everyone handles it really well. I'm assuming I will be really numb. My paperwork says the camera is so small that I will still be able to swallow during the procedure. So.... Yeah. Eeek.[/quote']

Let us know for sure. I've put mine off till May to co-ordinate other things. I am planning on doing the sleeve at the end if July as I have preplanned vacations on a cruise and too Hawaii - neither of which would lend to a pre or post op diet!! Can't even imagine the cruise on liquids other than those with fruit and umbrellas in them :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
