6 years and 2 kids later....

Recommended Posts

6 years and 2 kids later and I have finally reached my "wedding weight". I don't post much, but truly am grateful for my sleeve and for the people on this site who share their experiences (good and bad).

HW. 225

Surgery: 11/7/12 219lbs

Today's weight: 170

Goal weight: 140

I am also at my wedding weight right now! I have been married for almost 4 years, no kids though.

Ladies, I have been married 14 years and have 4 kids (5-12) and I now weigh 100# LESS than I did when I got married (275-175). I've lost 160# since my sleeve. My husband feels like he is having an affair...lol.

Congratulations! Well done!

I'm 75 lbs less than my wedding weight 2 1/2 years ago (266 in Sept. 2010). And I gained weight after the wedding...all the way up to 319 lbs (in May 2012)!

I'm shooting to hit my goal weight of 135 lbs (184 lbs lost) by our 3rd wedding anniversary this fall........

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
