Band Repair -Xpost

:-S

Well. There's nothing like waiting until the last minute! I JUST got

approval from my insurance company for my surgery in the morning.

arghhhhhhh!

It's not enough to be nervous about surgery itself, but you gotta be

on pins and needles about whether insurance is gonna pay too?

So, tommorrow morning I have an EGD and surgery to repair my band

slippage. I asked the doc about putting in at least half the fill

that I had when they un-filled it and he said no. :-( He reasoned

that since I had already had the slippage, he didn't want to set the

stage for it to happen again before proper healing time. I guess

that's reasonable, but Dr. Maese was the one who suggested it.

I'm not looking forward to this, but I am ready to get back on track

losing the rest of this weight.

Wish me luck, send good thoughts, pray! I need all the help I can

get!

Lisa, there does seem to be a rash of corrective surgeries right now. Not to throw another monkey wrench in, but could there be a batch of defective bands distributed (in regards to same time frame bandsters) ?

Kinda seems like they're all over, don't it?

I think I broke my band tonight. I drank right after eating, which I normally don't do. Boy, what a weird and very full feeling. Not liking it. Need sleep... Homer needs sleep.

Good Morning DeLarla....

Just wanted to say HI and noticed you and I are almost the same size. I am 5 ft. 9.5 inches. Beginning weight was 317:cry Today weight is 286. I was banded 5/26/04. Hope you will have a Blessed day!:)

Ha ha, my work computer is broken so I snuck on a co-worker's computer. The song, "I'm a junkie" by the Stones is running through my head cause I'm addicted to these boards!
