Hot off the presses! I JUST got my date. It's set for 4/22/13.

Is anyone else getting sleeved that day too? Or April in general? Would love to connect with others who'll be in the same boat at the same time, so please feel free to reach out!

Oh....and would also like to know if you're freaking out nearly as much as I am??

Hello, my name is Stephanie - I just got my approval today I should be hearing from a nurse soon on a date. I'm excited and nervous. Ready to get this show on the road...although not ready for the pre-op diet :/ I guess I'm dreading the hunger most of all those 2 weeks. At least after surgery I won't get the massive hunger pains I will have those 2 weeks.

I've been looking around on other threads and have seen some complain about how things aren't what they expected after surgery like hitting plateaus and such. Freaked me out a bit but I'm just going to take this journey one day at a time. I"m sure there will be some ups and downs. But I feel like every person has different reactions to such changes in their lives so I can't sit around and worry that MAYBE the same things will happen to me.

I'm in this with all of you We CAN do it!!!!!

I have my surgery scheduled for April 1st!!! It is starting to feel real, probably for the first time!! I cannnnnot wait!! But at the same time feel so scared. I feel like I did when I was 2 weeks prior to labor...the anxiety! Congrats to you!

I feel the same way!!! I am so glad you made the connection to being prior to labor!! That is EXACTLY how I feel!!!

IDK...I'm starting to freak out..lol!! I know this is very normal but I'm worrying mostly about what they do inside during the surgery. Wow!! I just hope they knock me out fast cause I"m gona be a freaking lunatic till they do I'm so glad I have this support group!! You all rock

I am scheduled for April 10th at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago with Dr Bipan Chand. I just signed up for this site today and am excited to explore it and learn from everyone!

Surgery is April 19th! Starting my two week protein shake diet tomorrow and worried it's gonna be very hard! I can't wait to get this over with. Starting to get a lil' nervous and emotional! Good luck everyone!!!!
