Thanks.. well I started at 353 sooooo I knew it was gonna be a lil faster at the beginning. I eat every 3 hrs about 3-3.5 ozs at a time. I drink tons of Water and theres only been few times ive gone under 80 grams of Protein a day. I stick with lower carb options. I mostly eat meat and cheeses. Havnt incorporated much veggies and fruit into my diet bc I focus on Protein first so I rather fill up on steak than peas.. yanno? I dont "cheat" and havnt fiven myself and food rewards. I figure I can relax when im at a more desirable weight. I walk at least 5 days a week around 1.5miles... I track my steps with my fit bit zip... andi go to the gym 2xs a week for strength training for an hour.

My carbs are usually lower than 40 a day and my fat grams is usually around 40 a day also.. I try to keep axtive but yesterday I did absolutely nothing all day but work and come home. I make sure I carry my Water everywhere and I drink 24ozs between every meal.. I dont drink 30 mins prior to a meal and I wait an hour aftwr to drink also

The main thing I would say is that you are going to feel really weak and tired and no energy for about a month or month and a half, but it will pass and you will start feeling better than you have all your life! Just do everything exactly as the Dr says and you will do great!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
