Tekara' date=' thanks so much for sharing this. Your weight loss is awesome--congrats! My RD recommended something similar to this when I had a pre-op stall, and it seemed to work. How long do you go without seeing a weight loss before you do the higher calorie/carb day? Could you give an example of your typical daily intake and then a carb/calorie day? I would really appreciate it. Also, how often/how much do you exercise on average? thank you so much![/quote']

Hey! Sorry I'm so slow. So I usually will do high carbs the day I don't lose anything. I'm a little obsessive and weigh myself everyday. I'm not saying what I do is right or will work for you. It works for me. Before I do anything I make sure I get my 60-75g of Protein. I honestly don't exercise. I work with kids so I'm always on the go and also have a 1 yr old at home :). I try to go to the gym as often as I can, it ends up being 1 time like every two weeks. Haha. But as of this morning I'm down 99.6 lbs and down in ONEDERLAND, so I'm going to keep on what I'm doing :). Best wishes. Stay hydrated and good luck.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
