It is now official...just booked the airline tickets...

I am a 3/13/13 sleever.

Yes' date=' moved up 1 day, mainly because flights were half price flying on the 12th and 16th.... I will tell you, that I honestly thought hitting the purchase airline tickets now button would be very exciting for me....I am sick to my stomach, WOW, NOW I am nervous!!

Well 3/13/13 sisters, I cannot wait to meet you!![/quote']

I totally agree. I sat down yesterday and was gonna get me tickets and got a anxious sick feeling and has to put it off. I'm gonna do it. Especially before they raise prices. It's so scary and will probably be relieved once I hit button. I hope..... It makes it so official. Huh??

I sat on that website ALL DAY trying to hit the purchase button, I have no idea what is wrong with me. Today, I am happy, but in disbelief that it is actually official now.

I think a lot of us did the same thing, you're not alone in this. So when are you arriving? The 12th? I'll be there in the morning...hope to see you!

Curious, how many days are you taking off work? I was planning on going back on Tuesday...do you think that is too soon? I have a desk job so I was thinking it wouldn't be too bad.

I am arriving on the 12th at 9:45 am via Frontier Airlines. As far as work, it is kinda an odd situation, my mom and I own a furniture & clothing consignment store, so my schedule is kind of flexible. I am hoping to be back at work on Monday the 18th, but I will just be sitting, I have more than enough "paper style work" to take care of........... The only problem is, it is a furniture store and people have no regard sometimes, so my mom is making me wear a sign that says " I cannot lift anything, so dont ask me, I just had surgery!" HAHA

We will see how it goes : )

Are you a late departure on Saturday? My flight leaves at 6:55pm, and yes, I hope we can stay in our hotel room since technically we have it until the next day anyway.

As far as preop diets, my sheet says 7-14 days, what is everyone doing? 7, 10, 14? What determines how early you should start?

I'm just finishing up day 8 of 21 days... I have high BMI and I need to get it down under 49 before surgery date so I can avoid paying an extra thousand dollars. So I'm doing 21 days of the Protein drinks plus a lean and green meal then on Sunday prior to surgery they want me to take a laxative or two and be on clears until my surgery on Wednesday

I arrive at 10:20am from Orlando on Alaska Airlines on 3/12 and leave at 10:05pm 3/16. I just found out from alma that I can stay and rest in my room as long as I can before needed to be taken to the airport since i'm paying for the night anyway but goofed and booked the flight a day early.

I really need to figure out my work schedule and see if I'l be approved to use my ELB time off. I've got much to work on still...and the $$$ needs to be set up so i can just bring a cashiers check. I pray I dont have much scar tissue when they remove the lapband and have to pay even more than the additional $500. Boo...

How do you respond to people when they show concerns about you going out of the country? I have only told a few of my family members as of right now. But I will have to tell more people soon.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
