Ladyvm...sorry to hear this. Will your lung heal and will you still have your sleeve surgery or do you have to avoid further surgery due to your anatomy and adhesions? Hopefully you heal quickly.

What do you mean? Are you a transposition? How did they puncture a lung? Were they fixing a hiatal hernia? Lungs and stomach are in two separate cavities unless you have a hernia. Why were there adhesions? Did you have previous surgeries?

She could possibly have situs inversus or situs ambiguus.... Which causes the normal arrangement of organs to be out of place. Or her surgeon could of just F'd up. I think the latter because it would seem like a doctor would have told her about the former a long time ago.

Well she said her organs are in the wrong place. I am just surprised that no doctor (if you go to the doctor or hospital) has ever caught this. And don't the doctors use a camera when performing the surgery? They should of caught it before they punctured your darn lung.

I pray everything works out for you and that your lung is healed.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
