GO LISA!

Y'all get some Biotin and some VERY gentley Shampoo and conditioner and maybe some Protein supplements for that hair. It took about 2 months of the biotin, but I did notice a difference. I just got some really gentle shampoo/conditioner and it's really making a difference in how much my hair is falling out. It's WEN and you order it on QVC. It's a little expensive, but I swear there's a miracle in the bottle. I've used it about 3 weeks and it's cut my hairloss in half and improved the texture of it too!

Hi everybody. I'm inspired by everybody's weight loss so far. Y'all seem to be doing great, from my point of view. As for me, all goes well. My appetite is coming back. food is starting to smell good, and I'm looking forward to eating real food. I'm down about 35 lbs (counting from pre-diet). I go back to see Hekier this Friday, so he can check out the incisions, I assume. It'd be waaaay too early for a fill, right? I read on here somewhere the first fill is usually somewhere between 1-2 months. Is that how it went for y'all?

I've been taking Biotin forever. I know it's helped cause my nails are strong enough to be used for screwdrivers and scrapers again. lol I'm tough on my nails. lol Yall do it too. lol I hope the Protein kicks in soon.

I get to go see Dr. H on monday the 10th. I think I will ask for a small fill. I haven't had one since SEPTEMBER!

Yall have a good day and be careful making snow angels. lol You thought I was gonna say Stay in the box. Well, do stay in the box. :rolleyes2:

I jumped out of the box last night and broke over and had dessert with my meal. This is the first time since the bad I can eat a regular amount of food. I'm absolutely going to ask for a larger fill. I'm doing mostly liquids today to make up for pigging out last night:(

Ok Shannon. Today is another day. Just jump right back in that box and start over. Believe me, my box has busted a time or two. Get out the duct tape and tape it back up. Mine has so much tape on it, it's not funny.

Yall have a good day. Stay in the box!

Dr. H told me that I was probably eating too close to bedtime and that I should eat before exercising, then have a Protein Shake before bed. He said that I should do more strength training too. That makes me feel a little better, I hope it works. So far the fill feels pretty good, but tomorrow is when the bad stuff will happen...if it's too tight!

Alright...it's been about 6 months since I've been on here. Had to do the 6 month doctor visit for my insurance. Anyway, just started my liquid diet Wed and I'm HUNGRY!) Surgery is scheduled for Mar 19th. Kind of nervous...all I've been thinking about is the foods I want to eat.

Thanks! Yes, I hope it's the hardest part. At this point I'm just looking forward to a salad tomorrow night :tea:) So, after the surgery...is the liquid diet as bad as the first week before the operation?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
