Way to go...doesn't that just make you feel great? I love getting into smaller sizes...I have gone from an 18 to 12/14...not in jeans, but in the stretch type of pants...I haven't bought any jeans, yet....

I'm still alive. WOrking on Homecoming this week and next. Then I can relax for the rest of the year! Gus turned 3 on Wednesday...big party at Chucky cheese on Saturday!

I'm scheduled for a fill on the 8th and I'm planning on being at the meeting that evening too. I don't think I will have a fill though. I'm never hungry and can only eat a little still, but I'm no longer sick to my stomach. I've only gone about 2 weeks without being sick and I'm not ready to give up my comfort yet. If I can lose 1 lb by Monday, I will have lost 10 on this fill. If I deny a fill, and need one in say about 2 weeks, will they let me get one or do I have to wait?

LO2us, glad to hear from you! I have never denied a fill, but I think you may have to wait. Not real sure but I was thinking someone said that on here. Doesn't sound like you need one anyway. Dr, H said if you are sick and or can't eat enough, you are too tight. He told me that last visit. He said if that doesn't ease in a few days, call them. I was a little surprised at that. Thought you had to wait longer. Anyway that never applies to me. Sometimes I wonder if I have a leak, like Susan did. I think it was Susan. I am 7 months out now. I am so glad you are doing so well! It feels wonderful, huh? I am looking forward to seeing you Mon.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUS!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone. How's everyone this morning?

Shannon, Dr. H told me that if we didn't get a fill, we would have to wait until the next scheduled visit to get a fill.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Talk to yall later.

Welcome Big as Life. Wow! Have you ever lost the weight! Congrats. Who did your surgery and what size band do you have. Just curious. I have been out of the loop lately, haven't noticed you on this thread. You have done so well. Again, congrats!

Shannon, you are doing well too. Way to go. I'm hoping to get my first pin at our support group meeting. Maybe, I can lose the last two before then.

Yall hang in there. Drink your Water and stay in the box.

Got an email from Mrs. Betty. YES, the meeting is on for Mon. (tomorrow night.) 7:00 p.m. I don't know why it didn't get posted on noscales. Guess Dr. H is super busy. Hope everyone had a great weekend. We went to Nashville, AR to hear Cheryl Wright, think that was her name. Anyway we really enjoyed it and the weather was beautiful. I haven't been getting out much these days, so I enjoyed it more than usual.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
