Good morning everyone,

I've been reading, but just haven't posted. Must have caught the "grumpies" from Lisa, LOL. Just kidding, Lisa. You are a positive person to me.

Hippmom, Lou is doing good. School keeps her hopping. She's at Region VIII now. I'm hanging in there.

I'm not feeling any restriction at all. I'm not disappointed because I've read that sometimes it takes a few fills to get to that "sweet spot". I have been getting a little hungry a lot and sometimes I have not been so great on my eating. I guess Lisa will have to put me out with the "puter".

I was another discussion in here, can't remember which one, but a lady suggested that she needed a kick in the butt ( for eating too much), so someone sent her a reply with a guy kicking another one and it read "you've just been kicked in the butt". I thought it was too funny. So I guess I need that kick. LOL

Glad all the "sick and shut in's":sick are recuperating well.

Glo, don't be so hard on yourself. Everyone goofs up. Just start over the next day. You have to take it day by day and work hard on it. It's a long term thing, but you still have to work hard every day to get to that goal. so..... we are all here to support you. :cheer2:

Good morning everyone! Hope all is well with you this morning

Priss, go to the noscales website and click on e-store. Then, I think you have to go to post-op stuff. Just look around. There are some vials (i think they are 3 oz.) that pack a lot of Protein in them. lo2us has bought some, maybe she can tell you a lot more about them. You might be able to check at the health food stores for some.

Yall have a good day!

i have bought some Protein powder at Walmart. it is pretty good with a scoop of fat free choc ice cream and a cup of ff milk. I bought the vanilla flav protein. Walmart doesnt have the protein bullets. I guess I can add the protein scoop to anything that is cold. I dont know about something hot. I heard it would curdle up. LOL

I bought the nectar from the website. I haven't tried the bullets. The Nectar is sorta like Kool-Aid, but with a funy smell. I would like to try the bullets though!

I will say that I'm disappointed that the company has YET to send my Biotin. I ordered it WAY back!

I think I would be giving someone a call about it. There should be no reason for them to be back ordered or out of stock on something like that. Call and give them grief about it.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
