well i'm 3 days in. I don't get the bars, I'm a liquid only preop diet. So what's helped is tons of Water, any time I felt hungry I took a swig. Work goes ok since there's a lot to keep me busy. At home is another story. I opt for unjury chicken at night since it's different flavor from my morning and afternoon. Changes in temperature help too. I have tea (leaves brewed first to get rid of the caffeine) and then switch to cold Water w/ mio or crystal light.

Jello hasn't really been all that spiffy. I opted out of that.

How long will you be on yours?

good luck!

9 days. Then two days of clear liquid before surgery. What's Unjury chicken? Is it a broth? I heard broth is good but has to be really hot...

With noodles. KIDDING! ;-)

I heard lots of good things about the Unjury chicken. I ordered and it should be delivered today. Excited!! And I agree...the switch between broth and shakes helps a lot! First two days are the toughest. I experienced some major headaches. Keep busy and have support that will help keep your eye on the prize. A good friend has made sure when we hang out, nothing has to do with food or liquor. Also, I suggest Fiber supplements. The Protein Shakes I'm drinking don't have much for fiber and I'm feeling a little stopped up. 8 lbs lost since Monday though! Good luck! ♡

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
