i have heard Bariatric Advantage are good, although I have never tried them.

I buy TwinLabs - Barriatric Support for my wife and she likes them. They are also less expensive than Bariatric Advantage. (If you buy them on Amazon :) )

I take 2 flinstone complete chewable Multivitamins, GNC B-12 sublingual, and a small Iron pill (only pill besides PPI/prilosec that isn't chewable). You do not have to take the bariatric brands, just check with your nutritionist to make sure that whatever you choose is ok.

I take the Celebrate multi complete twice a day this includes Iron and all the b's. For Calcium I take the Calcet citrate Creamy Bites three times a day which includes vit D. I also use the my med schedule app which texts me when its time to take them' date=' they have to be spaced 2 hours apart.[/quote']

Great info! I'll def download the app.

Try liquid Floridex for Iron, it'll absorb MUCH better. I like the Gummy vits so if you can find these is a much more tasty option. I have liquid B12 that tastes good too.

After 4 months I finally found a multi Vitamin I like. They are ameriwell tabs and you dissolve them in Water and it makes a little "jello shot" that you slide down- tastes like a vitamin Jello but not gritty and has a great dose of all that I need and only 15 a month. Some may not like the hassle of making jello each week but I make a weeks worth at a time and I will actually take these- my chewable just sit there- I don't like chewing them and so I put them off and then end up not taking them.

Oh, good suggestion! Never heard of the jello approach. I tried Bariatric Advantage and Celebrate tabs and capsules, respectively. Both made me hurl. Next I tried a trader joe high potency tab. That worked and tastes good to me. Now I am taking a GNC men's formula for active trainers, just what I need for high intensity running. I hope you find something that works and that you like.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
