I had the lapband in 2009. Starting weight was 288, lost 60 pounds then gained almost all back. Got the LapBand revised to the Gastric Sleeve in June 2010. Starting weight was 279 now I'm 195! So to sum it up, I'm 7 months post op and I'm down 84 pounds since then, but down 93 pounds overall. Patience is key...Up your protein, and strength training/cardio. I feel sexier now, love shopping and feeling/looking young like I should!...Forever blessed! Good luck to you all!
