Walking is fine right from the beginning, actually it helps your body to heal better. Also, I personally was off all weight restrictions and able to do full activities after 2 weeks and was released to start working out in the gym at 3 weeks. So just stick with what your Dr. says and what doesn't hurt and you should be fine. Good Luck.

I was told to walk directly after surgery. So as long as your not doing alot of weight lifting and crunches you will be fine

Oh Sarah I really feel for you. Give her a break guys, she is not the only person on this site to have asked the question or had a drink.

Lmao!

Oh Sarah, I think all the uproar about your half glass is funny. I have run into you on a few of these threads so far. :D

Stay away from crunches! I decided that I was fine to do them I think at 3 or 4 weeks. And yeah, I ended up with a pain in my biggest incision. Not worth it.

Walking is always good, keep your legs toned. Just light work outs to keep the skin toned.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
