3 months post op and down 50 lbs! Pics!

Recommended Posts

So, I have to admit that my favorite VST posts are those with pics. And, in hopes of getting a fence-sitter to come on over to the pro-surgery side, here are my 3 month post op pics! I had surgery on Oct. 13, 2012 with Dr. Aceves in Mexicali, Mexico. Weighed in at 238.8 and am now 188 as of today. And couldn't be happier with the results so far:):):) Yay, sleeve!!!!

Wow, you look great! I am the same starting weight as you and I go on 1-23-13. If you don't mind me asking how tall are you, I am 5' 4" but we have the same shape, and am hoping I do as good as you!

Thanks a ton, sleeve peeps! I'm still horrible about getting my Water in, but doing a little better than I was. Also dealing with some hair loss, but nothing a little sprinkle of Topik Fiber powder doesn't hide...and I'm digging the bob, too:)

And I'm 5'3", so our stats are super close! I wish you the same success if not more!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
