baked fish

Recommended Posts

I know baked fish is the best Protein meal for us but I can't stand it! I only want my fish fried with some hot sauce! Lol I use to like it baked with some rice or some thing but now it literally makes me nauseous just smelling it cooking! Ugh my hubby is coming baked cod right now and I'm closing myself in my room cause the smell is making me nauseous smh

Can bake it with some Panko crumbs to give it the crunch of fried fish?

Try grilled fish. You get some nice crust and flavor that you won't get in the oven. Cod won't work but many meaty dish will.

I coat with an egg and use spicy panko as a coating...then pan fry with a table of coconut oil.... crunchy & tasty with no guilt... and since my sleeve behave so well, I still can only eat a half piece then take the other half to work for lunch the next day WIn-Win!!

Definitely try grilling it!!! For one-it's outside, so the smell really isn't an issue and for two-the grill gives it a nice crisp on the outside. There are tons of recipes online that you can find that are super easy. There is also another recipe that isn't the best for you, but it's not as bad as frying!!!lol It's any white fish (I like Halibut) dip it in fat free italian dressing and then in a sandwhich bag put in crushed potato chips (baked or lite) and then add a bit of cheddar cheese (you can use low fat) and then bake it. I know it sounds weird, but it's amazing!!!! The salt and crunch from the chips are delicious!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
