In less than 10 hours I will have my sleeve.

Freaking out... scared and happy at the same time. Is that even possible? Got to take a shower before bed with hibiclens. I hope I can sleep.

Wow!! You have had such great success. Any tips? I'm in pre-surgical waiting room right now. Trying to take in any tips before I officially start my journey.

Good luck!!!! How did u make the decision to do the sleeve. Im scheduled for Jan 24 for the band and many of my coworkers had the sleeve.

I chose the sleeve because of no changes in absorbtion of vitamins etc.. Thanks for all your support. I am getting in the shower one last time to wash with hibiclens and off to the hospital. I will keep you all updated. Good luck to all of you and your pre-op's... :) (its really hard to sleep the night before).

The only tips I can give you is do exactly what your Dr says, only eat what he says and when, it's very important for your recovery, and I have become a gym rat, I go every day and do 45 min on the elliptical machine and do weight training (so I won't have so much lose skin), I do arms one day and legs the next, I only take off on Sunday. You can have the same results, you just have to work at it, and boy has it been worth it!

Welp.. I had my sleeve Tuesday the 8th and Today is Thursday the 10 th. The first day is the worse. Thank goodness for pain meds. I started at 274.6 the day I started pre-op liquid diet (14 days). The day of surgery I was 260.3. Today two days later I am 255. Its difficult journey, but every hour it gets better. Hopefully, I will discharged in the morning tomorrow.
