  10. The main thing I would say is that you are going to feel really weak and tired and no energy for about a month or month and a half, but it will pass and you will start feeling better than you have all your life! Just do everything exactly as the Dr says and you will do great! Sent from Gaye's iPad Mini using VST

  12. Do not back out! This will be the best decision you could ever make for yourself. And as for starving, I am 7 weeks post-op and have never had the first hunger pain, not one single craving for anything and the smell of food doesn't bother me at all! I am so happy with my sleeve! I lost 20 lbs pre-op and 40 post-op! Remember there is no food that tastes as good as being thin feels!!!!
  13. Do not get discouraged, I did the same thing and it took a couple of weeks before I started really losing any weight. I am now 7 weeks post op and just today hit 60 lbs lost! Just concentrate on getting your liquids in and walk as much as you can, I promise the weight will start falling off! Remember we didn't gain all this weight in a couple of weeks and we sure ain't gonna lose it in a couple either.
  14. Momma melly don't be scared, you can do this, you are stronger than you think! The best advice I can give you is to walk as soon as they tell you to and sip your liquids even if you are not thirsty, you do not want to get dehydrated!
  15. Great job girls! I am also glad I had this surgery done ( not for about 4 weeks though). I was sleeved on June 18 and I'm down 56 lbs!
  16. Good luck to everyone! I promise you will be so glad that you made this decision, it may not be in the first few weeks, but you will. I'm 6 weeks out today and I am down 56 lbs, and I feel wonderful! Just take a deep breath and say to yourself, "I'm doing this for me"! We will all save you a seat on the losers bench!
  17. I am also from Mississippi, sleeved June 18 in Oxford by Dr King also. You know down here we put gravy on everything, even cereal!
  18. Best of luck guys! The best advice I can give you is to walk as much as you possibly can in the hospital, it will be a lifesaver for the gas! This is a new beginning for all of you! I will save you guys a seat on the losers bench right beside of me!
