  5. Those darn carbs are the devil! I am almost 6 months po and I find myself eating them then I get control for several days and before I know it I'm slipping into old habits and have to kick myself in the rear. It's a never ending battle but I WILL win it!

  12. I think the first month or two is the hardest. I am almost 6 months out and things are much better. I'm losing about 3 pounds a week and it adds up quick. Keep your head up, it will get easier.

  17. I can eat anything I have the sleeve of steel! However, I try to avoid all the carbs I can which is the hardest part of the whole surgery for me.

  21. I have been so bummed about Thanksgiving but like you say it's a marathon not a race. I've lost 85 pounds since May, 30 pre surg and 55 post op. Surgery on July 31 So in reality I guess I'm doing good, although I think I'm losing slow. I'm in a 16 and love it. One day at a time...

  24. I was sleeved on July 31, I have lost a total of 70 pounds! 40 pounds post op and 30 pounds pre op. Lovin it.!
  25. Not really, I ALWAYS get very *itchy and emotional right before I start.
