  1. Not really, I ALWAYS get very *itchy and emotional right before I start.
  2. I agree! I had all the hormones making me a raging witch though...
  3. Me too! I'm sure I seen you walking the hall then. I had my 13 year old daughter walking with me. How are you doing so far? How much have you lost? I gained 10 pounds the day of surgery from gasses and such. I'm at 18 as of today.
  4. When was your surgery? That's where I had mine also. I really need to get my butt to another meeting.
  5. How far post op are you? I worry about the same thing when I start eating. I'm 12 days but already worried.
  6. I haven't been drinking very many protein shakes. My doctor says if you have to choose then drink your water. I'm totally done with the shakes. I will drink protein chicken broth before I have another one.
  7. On day 14 my papers say I can have a egg, hard boiled or scrambled. Refried beans with cheese, string cheese, cottage cheese and canned chicken and tuna. I'm so over this liquid diet!!
  8. That's awesome! You look like a whole different person. Congrats!!
  9. You guys will do great. The first 4 days can be rough I was sleeved on 7/31 but I do not regret it for one minute! I gained 10 pounds the day of surgery and as of yesterday I had lost it and yesterday I lost 5 pounds in one day!! It's amazing!! Best thing I have ever done. I will be thinking of both of you!!
  10. Every doc is different, mine allows 3 meals a day no snacking also.
  11. My nut has a two week liquid diet. I was sleeved on 7/31 and I would love some mushies!!
  12. Aaron have you attended a support meeting yet? What did you think of Keller? I really liked him. Have they gave you a surgery date yet? My first appt was June 25 and had surgery on July 31 so mine went by really quick because I was self pay.
  13. That's awesome! They are great here. I got out of surgery about 3:30pm. I've been up walking and trying to get my fluids in that I need to leave tomorrow. The Popsicles are going doing the best. I've had 3 lol!! Things are going great and all my worries were for nothing. So glad I did this!!
  14. That pretty much sums up all my feelings right now too!
  15. Thanks you both, MamaMelly are you nervous?
  16. My day is finally here! I am being sleeved tomorrow with Dr. Walton in Edmond, Ok. I am so ready to start my new sleeved life. Wish me luck! See everyone on the other side.
  17. My surgeon is Dr Walton, I think they do take Care Credit. You can watch their seminar online. They are awesome and I have had a great experience so far.
  18. I am having my surgery in OKC at Weightwise and the cost there is $9995.00. Its not in Dallas but not too far away if you can save some $. You can get all the details at www.weightwise.com
  19. I am having my surgery next Tuesday the 31st also. I am getting kinda nervous. I haven't had to do a long liquid diet or anything like some people talk about. I only have to do clear liquids the day before. I think I am getting worried the most about having complications and the hair loss and loose skin after the weight loss. I hope you have a great surgery and everything goes well!
  20. My surgery date is next week also and getting away from the diabetic meds is what I am hoping for. I go for my preop tomorrow and then the 31st I get sleeved!! This next week can't come soon enough for me!
  21. I'm the day after you on the 31st and it cannot come soon enough. I'm so ready to start my new life!
