What did you lose your 1st month?

Hello all! :) I know everyone is different, but I'm just trying to find what an average weight loss is for the first month post-op. If you could post how much you had lost exactly 1 month from your surgery I would appreciate it. I am 4 weeks post-op tomorrow & want to know how I measure up. Thanks! :)

For me it was 20 lbs. then I hit a long stall. A lot of that was in the beginning when I could eat hardly anything

In my first 2 weeks I lost 25 lbs, then at my next doctors appt which was at 6 weeks I had lost 53 lbs. In my first year i lost 150 lbs. But this isn't what everyone will lose. I had A LOT to loose, and my BMI was 44. . people with lots to lose, drop weight fast.

12 pounds :-/

It's only been 2 wks for me, but I've only lost 10 lbs...I'm a little depressed about it! :-/

My BMI was 39 at the time of surgery.. I have lost 17lbs. I've been at the same weight for 9 days. Tomorrow is 4 weeks for me & I can't help feeling I should have lost more :/

Your in a stall. We all hit them. Adding more food. Make sure your drinking enough and are getting your protein. It will restart your losing again. I know it's frustrating. Mine lasted about 2 and a half weeks.

BMI of 40 I lost 23lbs first month.

Bmi of 30 and I lost 16 tomorrow will be one month.

Well I am only 11 days post op and have lost 23 lbs. I am not sure if this is too fast or not, I have my follow up appointment on Tuesday so I guess I wil find out then.

If I remember, you lost a whole bunch up front. You're body is just catching up now.

I was sleeved the same day as you, and according to my unofficial weigh in this morning I'm down 16lbs from my surgery weight. 32lbs including pre-op diet. I will officially log my weight tomorrow morning. As you can see, we're pretty close to each other.

I had my first follow up last week and my surgeon said I'm exactly where I should be, so don't get too down on yourself. I was kind of hoping I had lost more too, but I'm trying to think of this as a marathon and not a sprint. I know it will come off - it has to considering the amount of calories I net in a day.

A few days short of a month and 22 pounds with about a 1 week stall mixed in

22 first month and 9 pre surgery w one week diet.
